World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
Item upgrades are a key aspect of preparing your character. Upgrades increase the damage of your item and the ability to enchant.
They also provide bonuses and improvements. They can be purchased by contacting the Blacksmith.
The upgrade button can be found on any item. Every recycled item adds one level to the upgrade gauge.
Weapon
When a weapon is upgraded, it will gain a base damage bonus, as well as an adjustment factor that affects other stats. The weapon could also be upgraded with a number of upgrade components, which provide additional features or effects, and some have distinctive cosmetic effects. Armor

Most armor upgrades provide only a slight increase in an item's base defense or strength. However, some upgrade components can give significant increases to strength or defense, especially when upgrading an item that is epic.
Some upgrades provide special abilities that can be activated when wearing armor. These abilities can be useful in combat, such as granting a buff to attack speed or blocking. Certain upgrades also have passive effects, like cutting down on the amount of damage taken while wearing armor or granting the ability to deflect attacks.
Upgrades to armor could require several attempts, depending on the type of armor. If a player is looking to upgrade Steelclash armor to Dragonscale The first attempt will result in a brand new Dragonscale armor that has a defense base between 59-67. The second attempt will result in a brand new Dragonscale armor with the base defense between 67 and 77, and the list goes on.

You can upgrade your Trinkets at the Alchemy Station by placing them into a Magical Catalyst. It will cost you 6 energy and boost the trinket's power by just a little.
